Firstly I want to thank you for visiting my website, finding the time to look at my work, enjoy what you see and maybe even connect and identify with some of my art work. Or perhaps you are curious to explore tuition or experience one of my painting parties.  Welcome to my world of colour, texture and emotion all combined to create each individual painting. 

After graduating from Loughborough University with a BA Hons in 3D Design I pursued my ambition to be a Secondary School Art and Design teacher. Supporting teenagers achieve their dreams has been my priority for over 23 years.  As Faculty Leader for the Art, Design and Technology Faculty and Head of Creative Arts in a large Leicestershire Secondary school for over 13 Years I have a true commitment and passion for  teaching and design. Lockdown due to Covid 19 gave me the time and focus to reassess my own personal dreams and begin the journey to change my painting hobby into my career. Along with the support of my fabulous family I have built my garden studio where I can be found at the end of a days teaching in a painting frenzy. 

To paint for me is joy, calm, anger, frustration, distress. Pure emotion.

I take inspiration from the wonderful natural surroundings of Leicestershire and Derbyshire, where I live and grew up. I adore how a sky, seascape or landscape can bring happiness straight to the soul and I invite you to share my passion to create emotion through my paintings.
